the light set
the light set formed in new orleans in the fall of 2016. we met each other at choir practice, at a house show, and at a circle bar gig that involved serendipitous oboe spontaneity. we believe in harmonies, pretty sounds, and having feelings together. we sing songs about disaffected farmwives, professional runners, and almost-maybe-one-night-stands. in no order, people have told us we sound like eisley, sufjan, fleet foxes, and feist.
we mostly play in new orleans right now, but we're about to take our music all over the gulf south and farther. contact us for details.

howe pearson played with us for a long time, including on the ep, and we love him! tim beasley played with us for a while and is in a couple of the videos and we love him too! the raddest photographers we know are nathan rocky (who also shot our videos), and kallistia photography.
